What does this call fund?
Published 29 May 2026 and open from 1 June, it supports the creation, qualification and expansion of technological infrastructures and equipment in Alentejo Litoral. It sits within the priorities of the territory's Just Transition Plan, aiming to reinforce regional capacity in innovation, knowledge transfer and technological development.
The beneficiaries are institutional: higher education institutions, technology-transfer bodies and municipalities. But for partnership projects the call requires prior formalisation of cooperation between municipalities, companies and higher education institutions, together with a business plan and technology-transfer activities.
If you are a university, technology-transfer body or municipality preparing an application, Elyntis is the company partner that supplies the technology — compute, platforms, instrumentation and security — and contributes to the business plan and technology-transfer plan the call requires.
Who can apply?
- Higher education institutions.
- Public or private non-profit entities active in technology transfer.
- Other entities, including municipalities, acting in articulation with the entities above.
- Companies enter as mandatory partners in partnership projects, not as lead applicants.

Two ways Elyntis takes part
Inside the consortium
The realistic entry: Elyntis joins as the company partner in a consortium led by a university, technology-transfer body or municipality, with the cooperation agreement formalised before submission.
Supplying a funded operator
Elyntis supplies technological equipment and systems to an infrastructure operator once the operation is approved, without being a party to the application.

The cooperation agreement comes first
For partnership projects the cooperation between municipality, company and higher education institution has to be formalised before submission — not agreed in principle and papered later. With the call closing 30 October 2026, that agreement is the item on the critical path.
