Digital transformation at 65% support across 11 municipalities
The Just Transition Fund opened after the closure of the Pego power plant, and it carries the highest rate available to a small company in the Centro region. Digital transformation is a named focus area — a technology project needs no reframing to fit.
Aviso Centro2030-2026-3 · CIM Médio Tejo · Fundo para uma Transição Justa · Centro 2030
What is the Médio Tejo just-transition call?
It supports micro and small enterprises across industry, tourism, commerce and services, with an explicit focus on green transition, digital transformation and job creation. Structurally it is a territorial incentive call operated by CIM Médio Tejo, but funded through the Just Transition Fund rather than FEDER — which is why the rate reaches 65% against the 40% to 50% typical of neighbouring CIM calls.
Covered municipalities: Abrantes, Alcanena, Constância, Entroncamento, Ferreira do Zêzere, Mação, Ourém, Sardoal, Tomar, Torres Novas and Vila Nova da Barquinha.
At 65%, a €30,000 engagement costs your company €10,500 net. That is the whole point of this instrument — it turns a project you were postponing into one you can sign this year.
A companion instrument, ITI IIBT OVT, covers Médio Tejo and CIM Oeste jointly with an allocation of €2 million at 50% and a scope focused specifically on digital transition — worth tracking alongside this call.

Alignment with the objectives of the Médio Tejo Territorial Just Transition Plan
The three focus areas
Your project is assessed against the territory's transition objectives. The second one is where a technology investment sits directly — and a well-scoped project usually contributes to all three.
Green transition
Reduction of environmental impact and resource intensity across the business.
Digital transformation
The line under which technology investment is framed — named explicitly, so no reframing is needed.
Job creation & retention
Employment sustained in the territory affected by the plant closure.
65% non-repayable on eligible investment
Support is a fundo perdido grant financed by the Just Transition Fund, under the Programa Regional do Centro 2021-2027.
Phase 1 closed 15 May 2026. Phase 2 is open to 30 September 2026, 18:00 — the practical window for the current cycle is now.

What Elyntis delivers under this programme
You are the applicant and the beneficiary; our invoices are the eligible expenditure. The 18-month execution limit shapes how we scope and sequence the work from the first conversation.
Productised digital packages
Fixed-scope engagements sized to the commerce and services band, so the budget matches the call rather than the other way round.
Business systems & automation
ERP and management systems, workflow dematerialisation and the integrations that make them worth having.
Digital sales channels
Website, online store and marketplace presence for firms whose local market shrank with the plant.
Green-transition instrumentation
Energy and resource monitoring that produces the evidence the first focus area asks for.
Quotations & specification
The substantiated quotation and technical scope your application has to carry, prepared before anything is signed.
Delivery inside 18 months
A phased plan that closes within the shorter execution window this call imposes, with the evidence trail the CIM expects.
Applications & deadlines
Applications are submitted via electronic form on the Balcão dos Fundos (Balcão 2030). Information and clarifications come through CIM Médio Tejo.
Phase 2 closes 30 September 2026
Phase 1 closed in May. Because eligible expenditure must post-date the application, nothing can be quoted, signed, invoiced or paid before you submit — so the scoping work has to be done inside the window that remains, not after it.
Always confirm the in-force version of the Aviso and the current phase status before planning around any date on this page. Ask us and we will check it for you.
